Each sitter listing includes an availability grid that lets residents and administrators see when a sitter is free. This article explains how to read and set the grid.
How the Grid Is Organized
The grid has two axes:
- Columns (left to right): Days of the week — Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat.
- Rows (top to bottom): Time slots within the day:
| Row label | Time of day |
|---|---|
| Late Night | Overnight/late-night hours |
| Over Night | Full overnight stay |
| Early Morning | Early morning hours |
| Late Morning | Late morning hours |
| Early Afternoon | Early afternoon hours |
| Late Afternoon | Late afternoon hours |
| Evening | Evening hours |
| Night | Night hours |
Setting Availability
Check the checkbox in any cell to mark the sitter as available for that day and time slot. Uncheck it to remove availability. You can check as many cells as needed.
How Availability Appears in the List
The Sitter List table summarizes availability by showing only the days of the week on which the sitter has at least one time slot checked. For example, if a sitter has any checkboxes checked in the Sun column, "Sun" appears in their Availability column. The specific time slots are visible only inside the listing detail.
