Both editing and deleting a listing start from the same place: navigate to Administer Site > Find a Sitter, then click the sitter's name in the Sitter List to open the listing.
Editing a Listing
You can edit any sitter listing at any time — to update contact details, change availability, adjust the visible status, or correct any field.
How to Edit a Listing
- Navigate to Administer Site > Find a Sitter.
- In the Sitter List, click the sitter's name.
- The listing opens in edit mode with all fields pre-filled.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save to save the changes, or Cancel to discard them and return to the list.
What You Can Change
All fields are editable: name, services, rating, qualifications, comments, contact email, contact phone, status (visible/hidden), and the full availability grid.
Tip: To temporarily remove a listing from the resident directory without deleting it, change the Status to Hidden and click Save. You can restore it at any time by setting the status back to Visible.
Deleting a Listing
Deleting a listing permanently removes it from the system. This action cannot be undone.
How to Delete a Listing
- Navigate to Administer Site > Find a Sitter.
- Click the sitter's name to open the listing.
- Click Delete (the red button at the bottom of the page).
- A confirmation dialog appears asking you to confirm the deletion.
- Click OK in the dialog to permanently delete the listing, or Cancel to go back.
Warning: Deleting a listing is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to remove a listing from public view without losing the data, set its Status to Hidden instead.
Note: Deleting a listing does not automatically delete the reviews associated with that sitter. Orphaned reviews will remain in the Reviews tab. You can delete them manually from there.
