The Find a Sitter module lets your community publish a directory of resident sitters available for babysitting, house sitting, pet sitting, and plant care. Administrators manage the listings and moderate resident reviews. Residents browse the directory and submit their own reviews.
Getting There
- Log in to your site with an administrator account.
- Click Administer Site in the top navigation bar.
- In the left-hand menu, click Modules, then select Find a Sitter.
The Three Sections
Once inside the Find a Sitter module, you will see navigation tabs across the top.
Sitter List
The default view. It shows all sitter listings in the system — both visible (published) and hidden — in a sortable table. Click any sitter's name to open and edit their listing.
Reviews
Shows all resident-submitted reviews across all listings. Click any review to open it for editing or deletion.
Settings
Controls module-wide configuration: which member types can access the directory, introductory text shown to residents, confirmation messages, and email alerts to administrators when listings are added or updated. This tab is only visible to administrators.
