Setting Up a Header Slideshow

Updated 5/4/2026

The Slideshow header type rotates through multiple images automatically. This is a good choice when you want to showcase seasonal photos, community events, or multiple views of your neighborhood.

How to Set Up a Slideshow Header

  1. Navigate to Administer Site > Settings > Header & Footer.
  2. The Header tab opens by default.
  3. Set Use Custom Header to Yes. Additional options appear below.
  4. Set Header Type to Slideshow.
  5. Set the Speed — how many seconds each image stays visible before transitioning to the next. Options range from 1 to 10 seconds. The default is 3 seconds.
  6. Add images to the slideshow table:
    • For each row, type the file path in the Image Path field or click Browse to select an image from your file library.
    • If an image path is already entered, click Preview to verify the image.
    • Check the On checkbox to include an image in the rotation. Uncheck it to temporarily hide a slide without deleting it.
    • Click the trash icon to permanently delete a slide row.
  7. To add another image, click Add an Image (or Add Another Image if slides already exist) at the bottom of the table.
  8. Click Save.

Note: Only slides with the On checkbox checked are shown in the rotation. Slides that are unchecked are saved but not displayed.

Tip: Use images of the same dimensions across all slides. Inconsistent image heights can cause the page to shift between transitions.
