The File Manager accepts different file formats depending on which tab you are uploading to. All files are subject to a 10 MB maximum file size.
Files Tab
The Files tab accepts a wide range of document and media formats:
- Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, ODT, ODS, RTF, TXT, CSV, VSD
- Compressed archives: ZIP, RAR, 7Z, GZ, GZIP, TAR, TGZ
- Images: BMP, GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, TIF
- Audio: MP3, WAV, WMA, AIFF, MID
- Video: MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, MPG, MPEG, ASF, RM, RMI, RMVB, RAM, QT
Images Tab
The Images tab accepts image files only:
- JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, SVG, WebP
Secure Tab
The Secure tab accepts the same file types as the Files tab.
Media Tab
The Media tab is intended for legacy Flash content:
- SWF, FLV
Note: Flash (SWF/FLV) is no longer supported by modern web browsers. Use the Files tab for video files instead, or link to a video hosting service.
File Size Limit
The maximum size for any single uploaded file is 10 MB. If your file exceeds this limit, consider compressing it or splitting it into smaller parts before uploading.
