The File Manager is your site's central storage for all uploaded content — documents, images, PDFs, and other files. When you add documents, banners, or other content that includes a file link, those files are served from here.
Getting There
- Log in to your site with a board or admin account.
- Click Administer Site in the top navigation bar.
- In the left-hand menu, click Modules, then select File Manager.
The Interface
The File Manager opens in two panels.
Left panel — Folder tree Shows the folder structure for the currently selected file type. Click any folder to browse its contents. Click the arrow next to a folder to expand or collapse its subfolders.
Right panel — File browser Displays the files and folders in the selected location. You can switch between Thumbnails view (icons and image previews) and List view using the toolbar at the top right.
File Type Tabs
The tabs across the top of the browser separate your files into categories:
- Files — general documents and downloads
- Images — photos and graphics
- Media — video files
- Favicon — site icon files (ICO format)
- Secure — protected files that require a member login to access
