Every event on your calendar has one of three statuses. The status controls whether the event is visible to residents on the public site.
The Three Statuses
Active
An Active event is published and visible to everyone who has permission to view the calendar. When you create an event as an administrator, you will typically set it to Active immediately.
Pending
A Pending event has been submitted but has not yet been approved. When the Enable Events setting is set to After Admin Approval, any event posted by a resident is saved as Pending until an administrator reviews and approves it by changing its status to Active.
Note: Pending events are not visible to residents browsing the public calendar. Only administrators can see them in the admin Event List.
Disabled
A Disabled event is hidden from the public calendar but kept in the system. Use this status to temporarily remove an event without deleting it, or to save a draft event you are not ready to publish.
Where to Filter by Status
- Navigate to Administer Site > Modules > Calendar.
- At the top of the Event List, use the Event Status dropdown to filter the table.
- Select All (default), Active, Pending, or Disabled.
