Setting Up a Recurring Event

Updated 5/4/2026

A recurring event repeats automatically on a schedule you define — for example, a monthly board meeting or a weekly fitness class. Instead of creating separate entries for each occurrence, you create one event with a recurrence rule.

How to Set Up Recurrence

  1. Open the event create or edit form.
  2. Under Recurrence, select On.
  3. The Frequencysection appears. Configure it:
    • In the Every field, enter a number (for example, 1 or 2).
    • From the adjacent dropdown, choose the unit: Days, Weeks, or Months.
  4. Under Ends, choose when the recurrence stops:
    • Never — The event repeats indefinitely.
    • On: — The event stops repeating after a specific date. Click the calendar icon to pick the end date.
  5. Click Save.

Recurring Events in the Event List

Recurring events show a checkmark in the Recurring column of the Event List. Click the event name to edit the recurrence settings at any time.

Note: Editing a recurring event changes the rule for all future occurrences — there is no per-occurrence editing. If you need a one-off change to a single date, duplicate the event, adjust the copy, and disable the original for that date period.
