Editing or Deleting a Post

Administrators can edit the title, body, or status of any post, and can delete posts when necessary.

How to Edit a Post

1. Navigate to Administer Site > Forums > Messages.
2. Click the title of the post you want to edit.
3. The Update Messageform opens with the current values. You can change:
   • Title — The subject of the post. If the post is a reply with no distinct title (it inherited the forum title), this field is shown as disabled and cannot be changed here.
   • Body — The full content of the post. Supports rich text formatting.
   • Status — Set to Active, Pending, or Disabled.
4. Click Save to apply your changes, or Cancel to go back without saving.

How to Delete a Post

1. Open the post using the steps above.
2. Below the Save/Cancel buttons, click Delete.
3. A confirmation dialog asks: "Do you really want to delete this message?" Click OK to confirm.
