The bulletin feature displays your sent messages as a list on your community's homepage, giving residents easy access to recent communications without having to search their email.
Enabling Bulletins
- Navigate to Administer Site > Modules > Messaging > Settings.
- Find the Enable Bulletins setting.
- Set it to On.
- Click Save.
Once enabled, messages that are sent through the Messaging module will automatically appear in the bulletin list on the homepage.
Setting Up Archiving
By default, bulletins remain visible indefinitely. You can configure the system to automatically hide older bulletins to keep the list current.
- In the Settings tab, find the Archive Messages dropdown (visible only when Bulletins are enabled).
- Choose a time period:
- Never — All bulletins remain visible permanently.
- Older than 1 month through Older than 3 years — Bulletins older than the selected period are hidden from the homepage list.
- Click Save.
Note: Archiving hides bulletins from public view but does not delete them. Administrators can still access all sent messages from the Email List > Sent tab.
Disabling Bulletins
If you no longer want messages to appear on the homepage:
- Navigate to Administer Site > Modules > Messaging > Settings.
- Find the Enable Bulletins setting and set it to Off.
- Click Save.
