Setting up violation categories

Categories are required based on the needs of your community and must be set up before using this feature.

To create violation categories:

1. Log into the site with an admin account.
2. Click on "Administer Site" in the menu.
3. In the left menu, click "Modules", select "Violations".
4. Next click the "Categories" button in the top menu.
   
   
5. Categories consist of two fields which are both required:
   1. Category: Help to group common violations such as lawn, pet, or vehicle issues
   2. Subcategory: These help to further refine the issue and must be comma separated in your list.
6. Create your categories and subcategories and "Save".
