To add a link to the menu bar, utilize the Menu Builder by following these steps:
- Log into the site with an admin account.
- Click on "Administer Site" in the menu.
- In the left menu, click "Site Content", then "Menu Builder". You will see a screen similar to this.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and note the three buttons:
- Create Menu: allows you to create a new top level menu on the menu bar under which you can create sub-links.
- Create Webpage: allows you to create a new web page with your own content.
- Create Sub-link: allows you to add a link to one of our modules or a link to an external website.
- For this example, we will click the "Create Sub-link" button to add a link to one of the modules on your site. You should see a screen similar to the one below.
- Select the menu that you want the link to appear under, select the "Link Type", name your link, then click the "Save" button.
